According ancient Yoruba philosophy, you had always existed for all eternity.  You are a god/goddess, a wielder of worlds, with powers beyond your wildest imaginations.

You chose to visit earth for a specific purpose and spiritual lesson.  Your real self, your Orí, went before the God of this realm, Olódùmarè, stating its desired purpose and experience on earth.

You chose everything that you are.  Your body suit, your mindset and your character all in preparation for your earthly experience and journey.

You chose the configurations and setup of your mind in relation to your life’s purpose: your level of confidence, your tolerance for fear/risks, empathy, boldness, strength of character and more.

You chose your parents, your siblings, your family members, your spouse/lovers, your friends and even your enemies all in a manner that would help you achieve and manifest your core purpose on earth.  They are your chosen helpers and movie actors…your Òrìṣà.

You are not your body.  You are not your mind.  The real you is not even here.  You are animating this body and observing from your real position elsewhere.

You are here to unfold something that only you can do.  You have a unique gift to share with the world.  Dig deep within and find it.

I would implore and encourage you to listen to your intuition for it is the gateway to communicating with your real self.

You can have, be or do anything you want as long as it is in alignment with your chosen destiny and agreement.

Within you lies everything that you need to fulfill your destiny and purpose.  Learn to trust your instincts and gut feelings.

You may not know why certain thoughts or feelings come to you.  Your job is to accept or reject them in accordance to who you really are.

Be yourself. Accept who you are and do not try being who you are not.  Doing so would help you let go of false beliefs that are holding you down.

It is time to stop hiding.  Time to stop playing it safe and being overly modest.  It is time to come out and live it up.

Your real self, your Orí, would keep nudging you.  You can’t please everyone but yourself.

Embrace all your pain and suffering.  Accept all your flaws and challenges.  They are all part of the unique combinations that make you who you are.

Everyone in your life is playing the role you asked them to play.  Everything ever done to you was done for your overall good.  Play your part, be the star of your movie.

You are who you are, whether you like it or not.  And you are the only one that can bring that unique thing to the world.

Don’t get tired, don’t be weary.  Remember who you are.  You are the medicine you need.
